Delta-9 THC and delta-8 THC are both naturally occurring cannabinoids found in varying amounts in hemp and cannabis. Molecularly, delta-9 THC possesses a double-bonded oxygen atom located on the 9th carbon atom, whereas, delta-8 THC possesses a double-bonded oxygen atom on the 8th carbon atom.
